When do you need a sworn English translator?

Pitfalls and notes
- US (MM/DD/YYYY) vs UK (DD/MM/YYYY) date format — explicitly annotated in the translation.
- UK apostille — issued by the FCDO Legalisation Office; US — by the state Secretary of State plus Department of State.
- US state-issued certificates have varying formats (CA, TX, NY) — we follow each state's layout.
- UK certified copies need solicitor or notary stamp — plain photocopies don't suffice.
