Which school documents do we translate most often?
Most often these are school-completion certificates, matura (high-school leaving) certificates, matura annexes, ongoing-studies certificates and other documents needed for admission or qualification recognition.
In practice, not one but a whole set often comes in for translation: certificate, annex and an additional school-issued statement.
Is a sworn translation always required?
Not always, because some schools and universities accept their own formal rules or a non-sworn translation. However, if the document goes to an office or a university running a formal assessment, or if it is to serve an official function, the sworn version is usually required.
The safest option is to check the requirements of the institution receiving the documents; if you have the full set, send it for verification.
How much does a school certificate translation cost?
Shorter school certificates often start around 55 PLN, but a matura certificate with annex or a larger education package is quoted after we review the scans. The price depends on the number of pages, language and the scope of documents.
To compare indicative rates, see the certified translation price list 2026. If you also translate university documents alongside the certificate, see the diploma translation.
Is an apostille or other authentication needed?
If you are preparing documents for a school or university abroad, see also the apostille information and the office contact.
